Registration

To ensure maximum participation, enrollment is limited to 44. Classes are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., seminar sessions from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Informal interest groups meet during breakfast and lunch. Faculty members are available for individual and small-group discussions at lunch and at other times by arrangement.

You are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Registration cannot be confirmed until the registration fee is received. After 44 participants have been enrolled, a waiting list will be maintained to fill vacancies if cancellations occur.

When you click on the registration form button below, your credit card and contact information will be taken. (This is a secure form, and your information will be held in strict confidentiality.)

When your form is submitted electronically, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your application. You are not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from the registrar of BTFRI via U.S. Post that includes hotel information. This hotel information form must then be completed and the signed form mailed back to the registrar.

Prices of rooms and meals at the Grand Hotel (Modified American Plan rates include full breakfast and five-course dinner) range from $189 to $289 per day per person based on double occupancy, and $303 to $503 for single occupancy, depending on the accommodation selected. Because of the hotel's No Tipping Policy, a 19.5 percent added charge is applied to the room rates plus 6 percent Michigan sales tax.
